New medical center is opened in Yerevan

The RA President Serzh Sargsyan together with Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan visited the new center of orthopedics, sport traumatology and spinal surgery which was founded due to the methodology and financial investments of “Wigmore Clinic” company functioning in Great Britain and carrying out activity in Armenia since 2015.
The medical center is located in the center of the capital at 56,Pushkin street in the overhauled building of historical and cultural value which in the 1880s served for the health care system of Armenia.
The President of the Republic together with Yerevan Mayor walked about the premises of the new medical center of “Wigmore Clinic” company, familiarized himself with the work done and the conditions provided for high quality medical services. The further activity and programs of the center were discussed with the founders and the personnel of the center. The President was informed that the center is provided with up-to-date medical equipment and corresponds to international standards of hospitals construction. Modern methods of patients’ maintenance have been installed in the medical establishment.
Total costs of the program of construction of the center made up 4.3 million USD, 3.8 million of which had already been invested. According to the persons in charge by the end of 2017 it is planned to purchase medical equipment on the amount of 500 thousand USD to equip the second operation block of the center.
