During the weekly working conference the head of the Department of Construction and Improvement reported that the process of holes and cracks liquidation is going on in streets and pavements of the capital, as well as damaged tiles are being replaced with new ones.
Concerning the complaints received from citizens regarding unsatisfactory liquidation of hole Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to study the citizens' applications and to find appropriate solutions.
“Any defects related to the quality of road construction activities cause additional inconvenience for drivers. Currently weather conditions are not favourable for planned activity however it doesn't mean that the citizens' applications can be ignored. Liquidation of holes and cracks can't be put off till spring. Therefore, study the problems and complaints the solution of which can't be postponed. Be consistent in this regard and in teamwork with the companies engaged in road construction activities ensure fulfillment of the current work”, said Taron Margaryan.
During the meeting it was also reported that by the instruction of Yerevan Mayor the inventory of underground crossings was carried out last week. At 12 crossings of 18 the revealed violations were eliminated. It was instructed to ensure meeting the obligations of bringing the underground into proper order by economy entities within a short time.
