Yerevan Municipality tourism unit informs that the fDi Intelligence service of the prestigious Financial Times periodical has involved Yerevan in the list of winners of Tourism Locations of the Future 2017/2018-Editor’s Choice Awards in the specialism of Heritage Tourism.
“There are numerous opportunities for investments in historical and cultural tourism infrastructures and leisure facilities in the city. “Erebuni” historical and archaeological reserve museum is one of them”,says the periodical. Yerevan has been outlined during the discussions of International Cooperation Awards due to its efforts to have its place on the world map for foreign investors. Yerevan cooperates with 50 cities and is a member of 8 organizations globally. Presently the city is expanding its cooperation with sister and partner cities.
