Roman Berezovsky has bee awarded with Yerevan Mayor's gold medal
The legendary goalkeeper of the Armenian national team Roman Berezovsky played his farewell match at the Republican stadium after Vazgen Sargsyan in Yerevan. It was a friendly match e Armenia and Belarus.
During the solemn ceremony of farewell Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan awarded Roma Berezovsky with Yerevan Mayor's gold medal for his contribution to the Armenian sport development, for his success in the field of football and sport achievement. The legendary goalkeeper played 93 matches within the staff of the national team. This time he spent only 5 minutes on the football pitch and accompanied by warm applause of football enthusiasts left the ground.
