During the working meeting in the City Hall which was chaired by the First Deputy Mayor, acting Mayor of Yerevan Kamo Areyan it was reported that explanatory activities are being carried out with the population and children in all administrative districts so as to exclude cases of swimming in artificial water basins. Besides, appropriate notice-boards forbidding swimming have been placed near water basins. it was instructed to carry on the control in this regard.

As a result of the inspections conducted the previous week 13 cases of illegal construction and land occupation were revealed and appropriate measures were taken in their regard. More rigid supervision was assigned to exclude any illegality.
Renovation of public property placed in parks, streets and yards as well as its replacement with new one if necessary is going on as well. Within the scope of the Municipality program planned for the current year renovation and painting of the flat and slope roofs and entries of blocks of flats, overhauling of yard areas and playgrounds, as well as asphalt holes filling are going on. It was instructed to keep the terms and quality of work under permanent control.
Regarding landscaping activities the head of Nature Protection Department reported that improvement and irrigation of the lawns and green public areas are going on. It was also instructed to keep the green areas of Demirchyan street, Monte Melkonyan-Isakov and Myasnikyan avenue overpass, Khanjyan street, the area of Sport and Concert Complex and Tsitsernakaberd highway under special control providing uninterrupted irrigation.
