At the behest of Stavropol Mayor Georgi Kolyagin the delegation of Shengavit district, on the instruction of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan took part in the events dedicated to the Day of Stavropol Krai and city (Russia).
During the visit the members of the delegation visited Hayordats home, familiarized themselves with its activities. The members of Shengavit delegation conveyed the Mayor of Stavropol Georgi Kolyagin the congratulations and best wishes of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and of the head of Shengavit administrative district Armen Sargsyan. On the day of celebration, early in the morning the members of the delegation put flowers at the memorial of the victims of the Great patriotic War, then took part in the festive events, familiarized themselves with the shows representing the culture of national minorities, in which the Armenian pavilion had its special place.
The festive events were finished with the concert program in Victory park, during which the pupil of the culture center N 5 in Shengavit district Rita Hovhannisyan performed on the stage.
