It will become possible to check the level of air pollution in the surroundings of building sites. In accordance with the decision of the Council of Elders that came into force in September, special duct absorbing nets must be installed at building sites in Yerevan. During the regular working meeting it was reported that the process of notifying developers is coming to an end. Mayor Tigran Avinyan stressed that the program is of high importance and makes it possible to set public control over the implementation.

To find a complete solution to the problem of high emergency rate buildings their number and locations were inventories. It was reported that currently there are 14 buildings of 4th level of emergency and 107 buildings of 3rd level of emergency. The Mayor instructed to dismantle the buildings with 4th level of emergency after solving the problem of resettlement.

The construction of the new road segment connecting Nork Marash district to Saralanji street is underway. This stony and impassable segment will be turned intо an up-to-date road of 1,4 km length and 7 m width. “Yerevan budget has been incomplete for many years. We have come up with solutions. We have arranged it with the RA Ministry of Finance to start discussions about financial decentralization, and Yerevan and other lard communities of Armenia will have financial means to keep their infrastructures. I am sure that this is the way all the cities of Armenia will start serious development and instead of local solutions we will have a complete structured system”, said Mayor Avinyan.
