Within the frames of the projects being implemented on the event of women's month the Municipality of Yerevan jointly with the Women's Council of the RPA has initiated 2 programs of social support. Within these programs visits and appropriate support are organized for the mothers and wives of the participants of the Artsakh war with the 1st group of disability living in Yerevan. The families with 4 and more under-age children and the families with a new-born baby also get social support. Within the scope of the program about 230 families will get support on the whole.
The NA vice-president, thepresident of the Women’s Council of the RPA Hermineh Naghdalysn, the head of the Department of Social Welfare of the Municipality Ruzanna Zakaryan, the member of the RPA faction of the Council of Elders Naira Nahapetyan visited the families included in the program and congratulated the women.
Congratulating the women on behalf of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, Ruzanna Zakaryan stressed that the families with many children, the families of azatamartiks and the ones included other social groups have always been at the focus of the Mayor’s attention.
The beneficiaries of the program in their turn expressed gratitude for permanent support and attention.
