Holy Liturgy and awarding of soldiers on the event of Saint Sargis Feast
President Serzh Sargsyan, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and Minister of Defense Seiran Ohanyan were present at the Holy Liturgy served in Surb Sargis church by the Vicar of the Ararat Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan dedicated to Saint Sargis Feast. During the Liturgy the ceremony of awarding the soldiers outstood during their serving at the state border were awarded and blessed.
After the liturgy the ceremony of awarding was held. 25 best soldiers taking their military duty at the border zone were awarded with the badges and souvenirs symbolizing Saint Sargis the Commander. The soldiers' mothers were also present at the event dedicated to Saint Sargis Feast declared the Day of Youth Blessing. His Holiness All Armenian Catholicose Garegin II headed the liturgy.
