Candlelit liturgy was rendered at Saint Sargis church
Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the Candlelit liturgy rendered by the Vicar of the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese His Eminence Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan in Saint Sargis church.
According to the church tradition, at the end of the Candlelit Liturgy the good tiding of glorious resurrection of the Savior is announced and the worshippers greet each other with the words “Jesus has risen from the dead” and “Blessed be the Resurrection of Christ”. And the Great Lent is concluded with it.
