Christmas event in Azatutyan square
At the initiative of Yerevan Municipality this year Christmas celebration was held in Azatutyan square. This year the event traditionally held jointly with the Araratian Patriarchal Diocese for the first time was started with a special ceremony which is held out of church. The ceremony held with the participation of clergymen and church choir was followed by the concert “Christmas in Yerevan”.
Popular ethnographic, folk groups and singers, as well as pupils of municipal music schools performed songs and dances on the stage of Azatutyan square.
