Yerevan Mayor, the president of the Council of the Armenian National University of Architecture and Construction Taron Margaryan accompanied by the member of the Council of Elders of Yerevan, the acting rector of the Yerevan University of Architecture and Construction Hovhannes Tokmajyan and the head of the administrative district of Ajapnyak Artavazd Sargsyan visited the Yerevan basic school N 188 after Gevorg Chaush. This school provided for about 610 pupils has been replenished with a new computer lab within the frames of the cooperation formed between the school and the Armenian National University of Architecture and Construction. The honour of solemn opening was given to the Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan and the rector of the University Gagik Galstyan. Introducing the facilities of the school to the Mayor the headmaster of the school noted that this lab had been technically re-equipped. Attaching importance to the having such labs in schools Mayor Taron Margaryan in his turn stressed that in parallel with overhauling activities the Municipality carries out systematic work in the direction of creating and equipping specialized labs to provide more advanced studies in schools. Those present added that the pupils who wish to become future engineers will have trainings in the new labs opened within the frames of the memorandum-agreement signed between the school and the university. And these pupils will have the opportunity to go on their study in the Armenian National University of Architecture and Construction.
