During the reception held in Yerevan City hall on the event of the 2798th anniversary of Yerevan, Mayor Taron Margaryan expressed gratitude to the persons carrying out many-year effective activity in various spheres, those employees who have had significant contribution to the achievements of the capital and have done and are going to do their best to make Yerevan better.

“It has become a good tradition to summarize the work done within the year on the city day, to speak out about achievements and success. This festive day is an opportunity to appreciate the people owing to whose work these achievements have become possible. And I must state with delight that the achievements are significant. The people who gathered here today have done and are doing their best so that our centuries-old Yerevan will become better and always stay young, developing and prospering day by day. Dear friends, each of you due to your devoted work have contributed to development and welfare of our dear capital and has deserved today's appreciation. I cordially congratulate you and wish you and families all the best”, said the Mayor.
During the reception a number of people were awarded with medals by Yerevan Mayor for their many-year activity and services in various spheres.
