During the regular working meeting in Yerevan City Hall, which was conducted by Mayor Taron Margaryan it was reported that the process of renovation of the porches of blocks of flats as well as flat and slope roofs is going on in the capital. 

Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed the head of the administrative districts to be more consistent and stricter in this issue.
“ The process of renovation of the porches and roofs should go on in accordance with the schedule. Particularly, the renovation of roofs must be finished by September. Be strict and consistent regarding the quality and take measures related to the organizations which don't eliminate the defects. Our co-citizens should be affected because of inappropriate work of some companies and we are not obliged to wait till they find time to do it. Dissolve the contracts with them and take any measures determined by law related to such enterprises”, said Taron Margaryan.
During the meeting the head of the Department of Urban Development and Land Control reported that as a result of everyday control over illegal construction an land occupation 6 cases of violations had been revealed the previous week and one location was dismantled.
The head of the Department of Building and Improvement reported that asphalting, holes and cracks filling activities provided by the program of 2016 are going on. The Mayor instructed the persons in charge and the heads of 12 administrative districts to keep the process at permanent supervision and to finish it in time.
Mayor Taron Margaryan also referred to paving of sidewalks and renovation of missing or damaged tiles and instructed to inventory the defects to liquidate them immediately.
During the meeting it was also reported that the process of reconstruction, modernization and improvement of “Vernissage” is going to be over in accordance with the schedule. It was also reported that about 350 persons who were engaged in selling second-hand goods in the area of “Vernissage” had moved to the area adjacent to “Hrazdan” stadium where all the facilities necessary for their commercial activity had been provided. The Mayor instructed to keep those persons under permanent control and to respond to the issues raised by them immediately.
