Mayor Taron Margaryan held a working meeting with the employees of the Departments of Finances, Revenue Accounting and Taxation, as well as Department of Purchases. The reports on the work done by the departments in 2015 were made during the meeting. The Mayor stressed the importance of transparent work adding that financial activity of the Municipality should always be presented to public providing clarifications through mass media and the issues raised by the residents in social media websites or elsewhere are to be explained.

«We have a lot to do in this regard. Budget articles are to be intelligible for the population. Talk to people, explain them our activities. The city budget must be distributed purposefully and highest results must be recorded, besides, the citizens must be informed that the budget is used effectively and no digression is made», said the Mayor adding that while publicizing of electronic budget it's not enough just to present the results. It's necessary to provide additional information through social events, reports and publications through mass media.

«The financial activity of the Municipality is not so intelligible for the population and it's natural. People aren't obliged to have knowledge of financial management. And we must present our approaches in the simplest and most intelligible way. The residents must be sure that each luma of the budget existing due to taxpayers is aimed the regulation of the problems and relieving of the burden of the population», stressed the Mayor.

referring to the functions of the departments Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to pay particular attention to the city budget incomes and expenditures performance and effective and targeted use of budget means. He called to be consistent and demanding so that it can be possible to implement all the programs presented to the society.

«The process of income collection must be under permanent control, as sustainable results in this issue are the most priority in the implementation of the programs. The employees of corresponding divisions of the administrative districts must be consistent in the issue too. The professional resources of the administrative districts must be used correctly. be consistent and demanding so that all the programs presented to the society will be accomplished», said the Mayor and added that the budget expenditures of municipality subordinated establishments and their effective management are to be under permanent supervision too.
