During the weekly working meeting Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed the Department of Communal Services and the heads of 12 administrative districts to make up the program of winter preparation activities. The Department of General Education, Department of Health and Department of Culture of Yerevan Municipality as well as the heads of 12 administrative districts were instructed to check up the boiler houses of pre-schooling, educational, cultural and medical establishments so as to be ready for the heating season.
“Traditionally, we started the heating season on a certain day though the temperature in educational establishments can drop rather early. So, it’s unacceptable to wait till the certain day comes. So, check up the heating systems in municipal educational establishments. If the proper temperature is not provided, heating should be turned on immediately. Our children’s health is more important for us than any formalities”, stressed Taron Margaryan.
