During the regular working meeting in the City Hall Mayor Taron Margaryan referring to the annual program of yard areas improvement instructed the Municipality Department of Construction and Improvement and the Legal Department, as well as the heads of 12 administrative districts to discuss and submit alternative solutions for the yard areas where in some reason children's playgrounds hadn't been constructed yet.

“In recent years we have carried out significant work to improve yard areas and to provide them with playgrounds. Every year we well-arrange and create about 500 yard areas and recreation zones, construct playgrounds. We still have a lot to do in the years to come as there are yards where there is no appropriate space to construct a playground. There have been cases when residents agreed to dismantle one or two garages to get the area for playgrounds. However there are still addresses where there is no space in general. Everybody knows that the problem is serious: on the one hand we have to deal with private property, on the other hand residents rightly want to have well-arranged yard areas. The fact that the problem hasn't been solved yet means that the situation is complicated from legal point of view. We must take measures to find alternative solutions”, said Taron Margaryan.
