During the working meeting Mayor Taron Margaryan referred to the publications recently appeared in mass media according to which in some places construction is carried out without permission.

“The process of giving urban development documentation as well as any construction process being carried out in the capital, are under our permanent control. Therefore, to avoid such discussions the residents are to be informed in an available way about the procedures and rules of giving permissions for construction particularly taking into account that we have significantly simplified them. I am sure that if a resident is aware that for example, to repair a roof a permission is required and that getting this permission doesn't take long he will certainly apply for it and won't take any illegal steps. This way he will avoid administrative responsibility and the work carried out by him won't be considered illegal construction. Many people aren't aware that the process of giving urban development documentation has been simplified and that e-applications are now available. So, take measures to increase the level of population awareness”, said Taron Margaryan.
