Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan hosted the legend of opera art, world-famous contemporary tenor Placido Domingo.

On October 8, the eminent artist will perform on stage with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia.

Mayor Tigran Avinyan thanked the distinguished opera singer for the unique opportunity and awarded him with Yerevan Mayor's Gold Medal for his significant contribution to the development of world music, as well as the cultural life of Yerevan.
