Within the frames of the working visit to the administrative district of Avan Mayor Taron Margaryan got acquainted with the process of implementation of the program of  construction of the apartments by the non-government organization ''Association  of the graduates of YSU''. These social programs are implemented under the patronage of the RA President, the chairman of the board of trustees of the Association of the graduates of YSU Serzh Sargsyan. Accompanied by the president of the Association Arsen Karamyan Mayor Taron Margaryan visited the building site and familiarized himself with the facilities.
Arsen Karamyan mentioned that 338 of the apartments being built will be put into operation in May and June of the current year, and the rest 490 ones-in July of 2015. He also added that the buildings are being built in accordance with modern architectural solutions, have underground parking places.
Answering the questions of the journalists Mayor Taron Margaryan noted that the Municipality will do everything possible to provide a comfortable environment for the residents. ''Within the frames of this program started in 2008 5 blocks of flats have already been put into operation under the patronage of the President of Armenia. I am sure that all of you have made sure that the Municipality is always ready to promote realization of such programs and to take actions directed at the improvement of the areas and providing of auspicious conditions for our residents. By the way, two more blocks of flats are being constructed within the frames of this program in Kanaker Zeitun district. The living quarter will be supplied with transport as well'', said Taron Margaryan.
Taking into account that as a result of apartment building program the military unit of the internal troops of the RA will be replaced in other place, the possibility of foundation of a park and a kindergarten in the place of the military unit was discussed in the City Hall of Yerevan by the instruction of the President of Armenia. Familiarizing himself with the drafts of the park and the kindergarten Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to start the construction and finish it within the established time. It has been planned to finish the construction of the park in the current year, and to put the kindergarten into operation in September of 2015. The mentioned programs are to be implemented by the Municipality of Yerevan.
Taron Margaryan also stressed that the Municipality will go on the programs providing the dwellers of the buildings with 4th grade of emergency with new flats. '' In 2013 we provided flats for more than 200 families. In 2015 we planned to build two more buildings but due to the support of the RA President by the end of 2015 we will have put into operation 4 blocks of flats'', said Taron Margaryan.
It should be noted, that the total costs of these social projects of the ''Association of the graduates of YSU'' have made up AMD 16,5 milliard and they are realized for young journalists, doctors, teachers, sportsmen, young specialists of IT, operation companies, banking system, state and special services. The persons in charge assured the Mayor that playgrounds, recreation zones, alleys will also be constructed within the frames of the program, and the area will be provided with the system of external lighting.
