It is customary for Yerevan dwellers to spend their leisure time in yard areas in any season. In 2020, within the frames of the programs of the administrative districts 65 yard areas have been well-arranged. Green zones with cozy walkways and recreation areas have been created instead of garages, illegal constructions and neglected areas. Proper surroundings have been provided for children’s safe playing.

For example, the residents of Zeytun administrative district will have a big tennis court, The project was suggested via “Active citizen” platform. The constructed has already been completed and soon will be put into use. The residents of Erebuni district now have football grounds instead of formerly neglected areas.
In Davtashen and other districts the problem of sidewalks has been solved as well.
Next year it is planned to found a park in Sari tagh area.
All projects completed and planned in the city are aimed at ensuring residents’ safety and convenience. The city belongs to its dwellers. This is the principle the city authorities are going to follow during the coming year as well.
