During the meeting called on December 26 and conducted by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan the Council of Elders discussed and approved of the proposal of the charity foundation “The Vardanyans family” related to the improvement of the park located behind the monument to A.Myasnikyan which will become a present for Yer4evan’s 28000th anniversary. It was marked that besides complete renovation the foundation expressed willingness to provide technical and engineering maintenance of the fountains of the park and the care for the green areas by its own means. Expressing gratitude to the charity foundation “The Vardanyans family” for the improvement and further maintenance of the park dedicated to the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan foundation Mayor Taron Margaryan stressed that in accordance with the agreement made with the foundation no commercial activity will be permitted in the park. “The Vardanyans family” foundation took the obligation to finish the construction and improvement of the park in September 2018.
