Tourist expo of Armenia and Artsakh
The tourist expo organized by the Armenian Youth Foundation with the assistance of Yerevan Municipality has been held in Yerevan for the second time.
Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Aram Sukiasyan who is the coordinator of the Board of Trustees of the Armenian Youth Foundation was present at the opening of the expo. Accompanied by the Member of Parliament Karen Avagyan he walked about the pavilions, familiarized himself with the expositions. 10 marzes of Armenia and Artsakh were represented in the pavilions placed in Northern avenue. National songs and dances, gifts of nature, cuisines of different regions, national costumes were displayed in the pavilions. The participants of the expo baked bread, potters made their clay items on the spot, carpet weavers, sculptors showed their art, the process of making national sweets was presented. The event was accompanied by a cultural program. A separate pavilion was represented by Yerevan history Museum. The aim of Yerevan expo is to show the tourism attraction of the Republic, to increase public awareness of the tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic significance.
