Proposal for Cooperation regarding participation in “Open Government Partnership Local” initiative

Dear partners,
The “Open Government Partnership” (OGP) initiative starts with the announcement of participation of communities in OGP Local process.
The announcement is open till March 16, 2022.
The goal of the OGP is to improve the sphere of public and community government making it more society-oriented, accountable, transparent, innovative and participative. Each local government body participating in the program works out “OGP Local” action plan in teamwork with its partners representing civil society and other active citizens. The program unites 56 local self-government bodies. In Armenia, Vanadzor and Gyumri communities joined the “OGP Local” initiative 2020.

Yerevan Municipality is willing to participate in this initiative and would like to invite partners representing civil society and other active citizens to discuss the further activities related to “OGP Local” process.
The meeting takes place at the City Hall, on March 4, at 15:00.
