At the initiative of Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, the ethno-electronic group “Hogh Arthun” has created the ballet-oratorio “David of Sassoun” (Sasuntsi Davit), which will speak to Armenian audiences through the language of art. The premiere will be held on December 18 and 19 at the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after A. Spendiaryan.

First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Armen Pambukhchyan, who is currently on a working visit to the Latvian capital, met with the Mayor of Riga, Viesturs Kleinbergs. During the meeting, the sides discussed the existing relationship between the two cities and identified potential areas to expand bilateral cooperation.

Under the trilateral agreement signed by the mayors of Yerevan and Lyon and the president of Lyon Métropole, the cities are advancing collaboration across five strategic areas: urban development and landscaping, education and youth, healthcare, culture and sports, and sustainable tourism. 

Yerevan’s oldest bridge, the Red Bridge, dating back to the 17th century, has officially reopened following restoration work carried out through a public-private partnership. 

Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Levon Hovhannisyan delivered welcoming remarks to the newly appointed members of the Council for Management of the Five-Year Urban Development Program and the Annual Budget adjacent to the Mayor of Yerevan and congratulated them on their appointment.

By the end of 2025, over 130 courtyards will have been renovated in Yerevan. In 2024, approximately 130 additional courtyards were reconstructed, replacing garages and fenced areas with comfortable, accessible spaces.
