The Epic “David of Sassoun” to Be Presented to the Armenian Audience Through a Modern Artistic Lens
At the initiative of Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, the ethno-electronic group “Hogh Arthun” has created the ballet-oratorio “David of Sassoun” (Sasuntsi Davit), which will speak to Armenian audiences through the language of art. The premiere will be held on December 18 and 19 at the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after A. Spendiaryan.
