The meeting of the five-year city development plan and the annual budget management council under the Mayor of Yerevan was held in Yerevan City Hall. The council members were submitted the draft decision “On approving the mid-term expenditure plan of Yerevan development in 2025-2027" which should be put up for public discussion.

The increase of green zones is one of the main problems of Yerevan. Some city parks have been leased since the 1990s to various individuals who not only failed any maintenance and improvement the areas but are absent from the country.

This year, 20 km of new irrigation network will be built in Yerevan to provide maintenance of sidewalks and green zones. 10 km of the pipeline is already ready. Every tree on Tumanyan Street has its own jet of irrigation water. According to Armen Begoyan, director of "Greening and Environmental Protection" PNCO, there used to be no irrigation network in Tumanyan street at all. The priority of installing the irrigation systems is given to the areas where trees are to be planted. Forest zones and parks are also urgent.

The "Landscaping and Nature Protection" PNCO carries out a complete mapping of green areas, and an information database has been created via GIS. Vegetation is shown

Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan hosted the representatives of the Armenian Hotel Association. During the meeting, the parties referred to the sectoral problems existing in the city and to providing constant communication with Yerevan Municipality in case of urgent issues.
