Special areas will be arranged for pet dogs in all administrative districts of Yerevan. This year such areas will be ready in “Love and Belief” park in Maratia-Sbastia district and in the 6th segment of Circular park.

As Yerevan Deputy Mayor Gayane Melkom Melkomyan informed, the aim of this project is to separate special areas so that people who have dogs could walk their pets without creating inconveniences to others. Walking dogs is prohibited in many areas such as on lawns of parks or near playgrounds, and we often get complaints from dog-keepers.
The first stage of the project is implemented with the support of the businessman from Russia Sos Martirosyan. Comfortable conditions will be provided in parks not only for walking dogs but also for training them. To implement this project the community cooperates with the specialists of the sphere.
The area will be furnished with the equipment provided for trainings, a new irrigation system, night illumination, trash containers, special notice-boards and benches for dog-keepers. By the way, the areas for small breeds and large breeds will be separate.
