The Governor of Saint Petersburg Georgi Poltavchenko greeted the participants of the forum “Yerevan and Saint Petersburg expand the horizons of cooperation”. Attaching importance to holding the forum and to the round tables organized within it frames Georgi Poltavchenko noted that it is another opportunity to present the perspectives of cooperation expansion in various spheres and to outline the further plans which were fixed in the cooperation program for 2015-2020 signed a few hours ago.

“I am glad to be in Yerevan once again as this ancient city is really native for us. Today a number of members of Saint Petersburg Government and representatives of the business circles of the northern capital of the RF are also here, and they are going to discuss the possibilities and perspectives of cooperation expansion with their Armenian colleagues. As the Mayor of Yerevan has already noted the 5-year program of cooperation signed by us today will make it possible to develop cooperation particularly in trade and economic, science and technical and humanitarian spheres. And I am confident that the program for 2015-2020 will make a new stimulus to our cooperation as the formed cooperation and mutual confidence certainly make it possible. I wish effective work to the participants of the forum for the sake of the residents of our cities”, said Governor Georgi Poltavchenko.
