Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan visited Transport Management Centre of Marseille
Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan together with the members of the official delegation of Yerevan visited the Transport Management Centre of Marseille to watch its activity on the spot. The director of the centre mentioned that it works 24/7 and completely coordinates and controls the regular operation of 35 rolling stocks of the Underground, about 650 buses and 30 trolleybuses. Speaking about the programs of improvement of the transport system in Yerevan, Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan attached particular importance to using successful experience of partner cities in Yerevan.

Later the delegation headed by Yerevan Mayor met Armenian business community who are members of the France-Armenia Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Hrachya Sargsyan presented the participants of the meeting the perspectives of Yerevan development, the policy of the city authorities in solving existing problems as well as attractive investment projects. Stressing the significance of involvement of business circles in urban economy development Mayor Sargsyan noted that Yerevan is open ad willing to discuss any offer and to show overall assistance in its realization. Armenian businessmen expressed willingness to implement investment projects stressing that it’s highly important for them to join in the initiatives aimed at Yerevan development.
