Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan watched the activities being fulfilled within the frames of Yerevan development program provided for 2016 in Nor Nork district. Accompanied by the head of the district the Mayor also visited the school N88 after Johannes Lepsius where overhauling is being carried out. Taron Margaryan walked about the area of the school and familiarized himself with the work done. The Mayor instructed the persons in charge to finish the work in accordance with the schedule so that in the new academic year it will open its doors before the pupils completely renewed.
“ Providing comfortable conditions in cultural and educational objects is a priority task for us and this year for the first time we have disbursed money from the community budget for overhauling of the secondary school. It's an experimental project, and at the suggestion of the RA President we have chosen the school N 88 which is the only one in Nor Nork 7th quarter. The work has already been started and according to the persons in charge, by September 1 it will have been completed. We will try to carry on this approach the following years and to take part in the program of secondary schools renovation”, said the Mayor.
Expressing gratitude for the program implementation the headmaster of the school noted that the problems rooted for years had made the school in bad situation. Presenting the Mayor the details of the program the persons in charge noted that as a result of the renovation comfortable conditions will ne provided for about 900 pupils attending this school.
