The information about the public transport of Yerevan is already available at “Yandex” e-map. In collaboration with the company, the information about public transport routes and bus-stops of Yerevan has been digitized. During the regular working conference, it was reported that via “Yandex” map people can see public transport itineraries and stops, plan their way, watch the route and understand how to get to the nearest bus-stop, which bus to take and how long it takes to move. To improve the quality of this online service the community carries on working with “Yandex”.The itineraries to be put into operation since July 1 will be updated in the map. It was instructed to install e-timetables at us-stopes as well.

The itineraries served by old “Gazel” minibuses are gradually phasing out. Instead, the routes will be operated with new buses. Since July 1, 9 routes will be put into operation and served with new buses of “MAN”, “Higer” and “Gazel City” buses.

Yerevan is going to purchase 30 more new buses without extra payment. It was reported that there is an agreement with “Zhong Tong” company to organize the process within the frames of the same contract. Relevant documentation has been sent to the company.
***: The tender for control equipment to be installed on Yerevan buses has been held, and the contract is going to be signed. Installation of the system will make it possible to watch the materials recorded by the cameras placed in buses, to see the data about the number of passengers and the location of the buses.

Routes 2 and 10 are to be served by 15 new electric buses the purchase of which was financed from the city budget. Routes N2 and N2a, N10 and N10a will be put into operation as well, and those marked “a’ will move along prolonged route including Davtashen, Erebuni and “Aeratia” as the new electric bus can move extra 60km without being connected to the electricity lines. It was also reported that in accordance with the agreement made with “Yutong” company, the maintenance of the trolleybuses and buses will be provided by “Yerevan Electric Transport” company.

Replacement of overground cables underground has been completed. The program is currently going on in Acharyan street, then it will switch to Tumanyan street. According to the project, there won’t be communication lines fixed on the pillars of “Yerkaghluys” company. It was instructed to keep the process in control and to consider other streets as well.

To restore monument buildings in the city they were listed in cooperation with the Ministry of ESCS. Approximately 50 monument buildings, which are privately owned and need improvement, were separated. The owners were notified. Avinyan stressed that if monument building owned by individuals or private organizations don’t get proper maintenance to be preserved, the owners will be applied certain punishment.

The area of about 10 hectares will be greened in Nork-Marash administrative district. Currently, the group of experts is studying the hard landscape of the area. A new irrigation system will be installed here. Vice Mayor Avinyan claimed that the area will be greened only, and no construction development can be started there.

The first project has already been posted on “Active Citizen” platform for public discussion, and citizens can already vote for the preferrable one. The current project to be discussed is the program of reconstruction of “Mergelyan” park.
Special spots will be separated for touristic buses. It was instructed to negotiate the issue with the companies engaged in the sphere.

The person who built a mansard on the roof of the building at 60 Aram Street has been applied administrative responsibility. The former look of the roof will be restored. Vice Mayor Avinyan appealed to take the strictest measures and to make changes in regulations if necessary.
“We must not put up with such situation and then struggle with consequences. No one has the right to make changes in monument buildings. It should be considered a serious criminal case and get relevant punishment. Yerevan Municipality must undertake preservation of historical buildings”, stressed the Vice Mayor.
