The First Deputy Mayor acting Mayor of Yerevan Levon Hovhannisyan hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the FRG to the RA H.E. Mr. Viktor Richter. Touching upon cooperation establishment between Yerevan and German cities and the agenda of bilateral relationship, the parties stressed the importance of experience exchange in the fields of mutual interest. Speaking about programs of energy efficiency and bus improvement in Yerevan implemented by the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership (E5P), Levon Hovhannisyan expressed gratitude to the Federal Republic of Germany which is one of the donor countries of the grant. Acting Mayor also marked that due to the cooperation between the country, community and international partners, Yerevan is step by step turning the transport system improvements into reality.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome and willingness to expand the interaction, Ambassador Viktor Richter noted that he is ready to show overall support within his powers in strengthening and development of bilateral ties as well as in implementation of joint projects.
Levon Hovhannisyan and Viktor Richter exchanged thoughts about the exchange of specialists of the sphere of education and students.
