The  “Arm Marathon” sport and educational foundation jointly with Yerevan Municipality is going to hold the traditional annual run in Yerevan. The marathon is scheduled for April 28.
“Yerevan Marathon” has been held annually since 2018 and is the only 42 km marathon in the region which is involved in the age group world championship and is certified by AIMF Association of International Marathons and Distant Races.
The run starts at 08.00 on April 28 from S.Shahumyan square and continued till 14:30 involving the distances of 42 km, 21 km, 11,5 km, 5 km and 1 km (kids’ run). Passing along Republic square, Nalbandyan, Vardanants, A.Manukyan, A.Isahakyan streets and the “Cascade” complex the runners will carry on the route towards Moskovyan, Saryan streets, then along Leo, H.Paronyan, Dzorap street (up to Davtashen bridge), along the Hrazdan gorge, Argishti, Italy, V.Sargsyan, Kh.Abovyan, A.Pushkin streets back to the start. The start area will be open for participants since 07.00.
During the event, from 08.00 till 14:00, the traffic will be stopped in the mentioned above areas partially or completely. 2000 runners are expected to participate in the event.
