Special lines to be separated for buses in Yerevan: Myasnikyan and Guy avenues are under consideration
New projects are going to be implemented within the frames of the cooperation established between Yerevan and Tehran. Summarizing the results of the visit to Tehran during the regular working meeting, Mayor Sargsyan informed that the experience of the capital of the IRI was taken into account and an agreement was reached to develop the Yerevan Underground.
It should be noted that the Tehran Underground currently has a 250-km network, 143 stations operated and provides transportation of approximately 2 million passengers daily. A number of projects are under consideration in the sphere of culture.

Within the scope of the city transport reforms it is planned to have separate lines for buses. Myasnikyan and Guy avenues are under discussion as a start for this program.

To ensure regular work of new buses the city authorities plan to expand the distance between bus stops which will help to avoid traffic jams. It has been instructed to start the inventory of the bus stops.

To ensure proper sanitary condition of trolleybuses and buses new modern washing stations will be installed. It was reported that the station will be in Yerevan in a few days.

The process of installation of solar photovoltaic panels on the roofs of Yerevan Municipality buildings has been over. The program will make it possible to reduce energy costs by 30%. The community will direct saved amounts at solving the problems raised by residents.

The community plans to start the process of replacement of semi-viable and non-valuable sorts of trees. A conference with the participation of the experts of the sphere will be organized to give the problem a professionally justified solution. The action plan will be worked out in teamwork.
