Another school renovated in Yerevan
Secondary school N51 after Vardges Petrosyan has opened its doors after complete renovation. The school has 1192 pupils.
The RA Deputy Prime Minister Suren Papikyan, Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan, other officials and guests were present at the opening ceremony. Yerevan Mayor and Deputy Prime Minister toured about the school, familiarized themselves with the work done and the conditions provided for schoolchildren. The classrooms are bright and comfortable, the gym and labs have been well-equipped.
The school has been renovated within the frames of seismic security improvement program implemented by the RA Government and the Asian Development Bank. The program started in 2019 and was completed in May of this year. Total budget of the renovation was 530 million drams. The amount of 22 million 500 thousand drams disbursed by the RA Government was used to purchase necessary furniture and appliances.
The schools N 135 and N143 were renovated prior to the new school year as well. Here pupils start the new academic year in renovated and comfortable classrooms and improved conditions.
