8th UN Global Tourism Conference on Wine Tourism has kicked off in Yerevan
Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Levon Hovhannisyan took part in the official opening of the 8th UN Global Tourism Conference on Wine Tourism. In his speech, the Deputy Mayor emphasized that the conference is an important platform for exchanging knowledge and experience, for discovering and exploring new horizons.
"Bringing together industry leaders under one roof in Yerevan is a great honor and a pleasant experience. Wine is an expression of our history, culture and traditions. Armenia has a thousand-year history of viticulture, in which Yerevan also has a special place. This event is a crossroads of tradition and innovation, where the unifying factor is the vision of boosting wine tourism," Levon Hovhannisyan said.
The conference is attended by 120 representatives of wine tourism sphere from more than 20 countries. During the three-day conference, separate discussions are planned related to the development of new ideas and expansion of cooperation.
