Another big event held within “Yerevan summer” program initiated by the Municipality of Yerevan was at “Cascade” complex. The performers of author’s songs Yervand Zorikyan, Vakhtang Harutyunyan, Armen Adamyan, Armineh Hayrapetyan, Sargis Shiboyan, Gagik Shiboyan, Karen Mamikonyan took part in “Yerevan bard” concert.
“This kind of song is an inseparable part of city folklore. We met our audience in many clubs where there is little space, and due to the Municipality today we have gathered here. If there are more similar initiatives, we will be able to create festive mood more often”, said bard Vakhtang Harytyunyan. Hundreds of residents who were present at the concert agreed with him. They think that such actions are not only a surprise festival for author’s songs lovers but also create a special colour to this aspect of cultural life of the capital.
