The process of teachers’ voluntary certification will give them the opportunity to get 30, 40 or 50 percent higher salaries depending on the score. During the working meeting Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan attached particular importance to the improvements in the field of education and instructed to take steps to activate the process in municipal schools so that teachers will be certified and have the possibility to get better-paid job.

At the cost of the city budget renovations are going on in children and youth sport school of Shengavit. All conveniences will be provided in three gyms of the school in 2023.

In 2023, a fountain complex will be constructed in the area of St Gregory the Illuminator church. Currently the spot is badly-arranged. The competition for the design was announced this year.

The bus stop cabins in Yerevan are going to be modernized. The program will be gradually implemented in the administrative districts so as to give complex solution to the problem. This year 10 new bus stop cabins are going to be constructed. The process is to start in Ajapnyak. The competition has been held.

An additional traffic belt is being constructed in the junction of Komitas ave and Vagharshyan street to organize right-side traffic. Construction activities are going to be over. Attaching importance to effective organization of the traffic the Mayor noted that the problem must be settled at all problematic junctions.

Fire engines always need refilling while putting out fires in the city. In 2021 the community initiated construction of new hydrants and renovation of old ones. 39 hydrants have been renovated. 200 more ones are planned for this year and the program will be completed.
