The First Deputy Mayor, Acting Mayor Levon Hovhannisyan, the RA Deputy Minister of ESCS Araxia Svajyan, the First Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Ruben Sargsyan visited the “French-Armenian Vocational Education Centre” (CEPFA)  with the vice President of the Regional Council of Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes Philippe Meunier who is in Yerevan within the frames of the visit of the President of the Council to Yerevan. The guests looked around the centre, familiarizing themselves with the facilities where nearly 200 students are getting their vocational education. Within the scope of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the municipalities of Yerevan and Lyon in 2022, the parties are to show active support to the development programs of CEPFA including the improvement of building facilities. The guests participated in the opening ceremony of the new confectionery lab opened in the centre due to support of the Regional Council of Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes. Levon Hovhannisyan, who is a member of the Board of Trustees of the educational centre, in his speech stressed the importance of cooperation and expressed  hope that the vocational education of a new quality opens new perspectives of development. 
The First Deputy Mayor restated the willingness of Yerevan Municipality to show overall support to the educational establishment. The project for the centre is one of the best examples of friendship and practical cooperation between Yerevan and Lyon owing to which more than 3000 students got their education in the centre during the recent 20 years.
