During the weekly working meeting in the City Hall which was chaired by the First Deputy Mayor, acting Mayor of Yerevan Kamo Areyan it was reported that the previous week 7 administrative protocols had been drawn up for waste dumping in inappropriate spots. The persons in charge were instructed to carry on tight control in teamwork with Yerevan department of the RA Police and to call the violators to responsibility. It was also instructed to carry on notification of building companies and drivers of trucks carrying building wastes about the dump functioning in the capital and providing for building wastes. The dump is located at the former area of basalt mining nearby Silikyan quarter of Ajapnyak district.

Expressing discontent with the work of “Sanitk” company the corresponding subdivisions and heads of administrative districts were assigned by Kamo Areyan to strengthen the control in teamwork with Yerevan department of the RA Police, particularly in the areas of Republic square, Azatutyan square and Northern avenue.
Releted to the activities carried out within the scope of international loan programs,particularly the road segments Davtashen-Ashtarak and Babajanyan-Ashtarak, Deputy Mayor Vahe Nikoyan reported that they are going in in accordance with the schedule. Referring to the program of new polygon for garbage it was reported that the tender documentation had already been submitted to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
It was instructed to supervise the quality and terms of the current work.
During the meeting the head of General Education Department reported that the organization of summer holidays of children from needy families from Yerevan in sport and health camps is going on. The third stage included 426 children. Kamo Areyan instructed to keep the issue under control and offered to visit the camps in person and to get to know about the conditions provided for children on the spot.
