Today President Serzh Sargsyan visited Yerevan metro after Karen Demirchyan.Mayor Taron Margarya and the persons in charge of «Yerevan Metro» CJSC presented the President of the Republic the activities carried out with the aim of Yerevan Metro infrastructure modernization, outlined the existing problems, as well as results of the work carried out within the last six years within the frames of the first and the second credit programs.
To attract investments targeted at Metro modernization, safe operation and solution of urgent problems and to complete the programs of reconstruction the president gave corresponding orders to go on negotiations with partner organizations.
The President accompanied by Yerevan Mayor and the leadership of the metro moved from «Marshal Baghramyan» metro station to «Zoravar Andranik» station from which he entered the new-built mall «Rossia Mall». The President was present at the ceremony of opening the trade center. The honour of opening was given to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and to the co-owner of the TC Robert Sukiasyan.
Together with the co-owners of «Sil» concern which is the owner of «Rossia Mall», with the members of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia, numerous guests invited to the ceremony, the President toured about «Rossia Mall». During the tour the executives of Yerevan Municipality presented the urban development projects of «Sil» concern a part of which is the newly-opened mall.
