Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan met the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to France H.E. Ms Anne Louyot. Highly appreciating the role of France in the programs implemented in Yerevan the Mayor expressed confidence that the warm relationship established between Yerevan and the Embassy will be continued to benefit expansion of friendship and partnership existing between Yerevan and cities of France.
Expressing gratitude for willingness to expand the interaction Ambassador Anne Louyot noted that she would do her best within the powers delegated to her to support and facilitate all initiatives aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.
Today, Yerevan Municipality cooperates with Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Nice and Ile-de-France district. The parties attached importance to cooperation expansion and experience exchange in various fields of city economy with partner cities and districts.
Referring to the regular forum of the decentralized cooperation which has been scheduled for June in Lyon, the Mayor and the Ambassador expressed certainty in serving this event a good possibility for comprehensive discussion of further cooperation.
