Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the ceremony of opening the information exposition dedicated to Europe Day
Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, at the behest of the head of European Union delegation in the RA, Ambassador Piotr Switalski was present at the ceremony of opening the information exposition dedicated to Europe Day.
In his greeting speech the head of EU delegation in Armenia, Ambassador Piotr Switalski expressed gratitude to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan for the assistance in the organization and holding of the events dedicated to Europe Day. Yerevan Mayor accompanied by the Ambassador walked about the expo and familiarized himself with the samples exhibited at the exposition opened in Northern avenue The persons in charge informed that the programs being carried out under EU financing including various spheres such as culture, education, tourism and other spheres are presented in the pavilions. By means of the information exposition the visitors are given the opportunity to get information about Europe, EU and the diversity of European culture.
Expressing gratitude to Ambassador Piotr Switalski for the behest Mayor Taron Margaryan once again stressed that Yerevan Municipality is always open and ready for cooperation with the EU. It should be noted that this year the celebration of Europe Day is held under the motto “European Union for Armenia”.
