During his working visit to Avan administrative district Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan familiarized himself with the process of implementation of water supply program by “Yerevan Jur” company. Presenting the Mayor the details of the program the persons in charge noted that in the current year it is planned to reconstruct the water lines of the lanes of Avan 14th street and Avan 5th street which make it possible to provide uninterrupted water supply. Stressing the importance of the quality of water supply in the capital Yerevan Mayor noted that the work should be consistently carried on in this regard so that uninterrupted water supply would be provided for the residents. 

“The cooperation between Yerevan Municipality and “Yerevan Jur” company has been very successful within the recent years and a s a result various programs aimed at water supply improvement are being carried out in the capital and we can state the positive changes are obvious in this field. One of the important task we pay attention to is liquidation of water loss. The activities being carried out in Avan district are aimed at this too. I am sure that due to consistent work in a few year 24-ohur water supply will be provided in all administrative districts of the capital”, said the Mayor.
Attaching importance to the modernization of water supply system the resident noted that the program had been awaited as they used to be deprived of everyday water supply and because of badly damaged water pipes the water used to pour into their flats.

Within the frames of the visit to Avan district Mayor Taron Margaryan familiarized himself with the process of complex renovation of the youth sport school of the district. The Mayor was reported that the sport school had never been renovated, and that after finishing the process all necessary conditions will be provided for proper trainings. Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed the head of the district and other persons in charge to be consistent in the implementation of the programs in different spheres of urban economy and to take into account residents' suggestions and remarks.
Yerevan Mayor also met with the representatives of the teaching staffs of Avan district. Stressing the particular importance of their mission in the issue of upbringing of younger generation Mayor Taron Margaryan noted that tomorrow's patriotic citizens are formed due to teachers' caring work and expressed confidence that the devotees of the sphere of education will go on their noble activity. Expressing gratitude for the appreciation the teachers in their turn assured that they had always approached their work with high responsibility and will go on their mission with honour.
