During the working visit to Malatia Sebastia administrative district Mayor Taron Margaryan watched the process of implementation of annual programs. The Mayor visited the sport school of the district where within the frames of municipal program overhauling is being carried out. Accompanied by the head of the district the Mayor walked about the school, familiarized himself with the work done. Stressing the importance of the program persons in charge noted that it was necessary and awaited. During the working visit Mayor Taron Margaryan was shown the area near the swimming pool of the sport school which is to be improved too.

It should be noted that more than 9000 young people are being trained in municipal sport schools at the present. Mayor Taron Margaryan assured that as a result of implementation of all planned programs, training in more comfortable conditions young sportsmen and sportswomen will be able to get higher results both in republican and international competitions.
In Malatia Sebastia district the Mayor was also presented the program of overhauling of the kindergarten N 89. Within the scope of annual program all necessary conditions will be provided here for children. The director and the staff of the kindergarten noted that this pre-school had never been renovated before and the need for full renovation was obvious. The director expressed gratitude on behalf of the parents of the children attending this pre-school for the attention and care stressing that in the recent years the programs aimed at the improvement of conditions in kindergartens are diverse and large-scale. Mayor Taron Margaryan assured once again that the program aimed at the improvement of kindergartens in the capital will be long-term.
“There are 160 kindergartens subordinated to Yerevan Municipality and almost all of them needed overhauling. Within the last four years we worked out a plan which provides for overhauling of kindergartens in all administrative districts. From year to year the result is becoming more noticeable which is evidenced by the parents of the children attending kindergartens and the staffs. As you know after the kindergartens became free about 30000 children have been attending them and we do our best to provide them with all necessary conditions. In parallel with overhauling we are renovating and replenishing the furniture and equipment. I promise that in a few years all kindergartens in Yerevan will be renovated”, said the Mayor of the capital.
During the working visit Taron Margaryan also talked to the cook of the kindergarten, asked about children's catering and instructed to keep all the standards of the quality of food products.
The Mayor also visited the new corpus of the kindergarten and talked to the children.
