During the working visit to Malatia Sebastia administrative district Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan visited the park “Chinari”, familiarized himself with the process of reconstruction of the recreation zone which is being fulfilled within the frames of cooperation between the municipality and private sector. Presenting the details of the work to the Mayor the persons in charge noted that complex approach was applied as a result of which all necessary conditions are being provided for the residents' proper recreation. New benches, dustbins have already been placed, the external lighting system has been modernized, fountains have been renovated and provided with backlight. After the reconstruction has been over the park “Chinari” which was founded in 1998 and was the first recreation zone of South-Western living quarter will restore its beauty and purposeful significance.

Attaching importance to the cooperation with the private sector and to the implementation of joint projects Mayor Taron Margaryan stressed that the Municipality is open and willing for cooperation and welcomes the participation of private sector in the programs of Yerevan development.
“Within the last years successful cooperation was established between Yerevan Municipality and the private sector and the reconstruction of “Chinari” park in Malatia Sebastia district is one of its examples. This park used to be badly damaged and neglected and the participation and investment of the private sector were highly important and desirable. I am sure that this recreation zone will become a model one. We have been fulfilling large-scale work related to the reconstruction of the parks within the frames of municipal programs and when the private sector joins us the results are much better. I've mentioned many times that we are ready for cooperation and we will be always next to all the private companies which will show willingness to join in Yerevan improvement programs and assist them within our powers”, said the Mayor.
