During the weekly working meeting in the City Hall which was chaired by Mayor Taron Margaryan the First Deputy Mayor Kamo Areyan reported that the conference aimed at business environment improvement and simplification of the process of giving building permissions had been held and during that conference the persons in charge of the administrative districts were handed out relevant guidelines in which the procedures of getting various urban development documents are availably presented. At the meeting held at the RA Prim Minister’s last week within the scope of which the draft of the program of events aimed at business environment improvement in Armenia in 2018 was discussed, Yerevan Municipality presented the report on the work done, the program for 2018 was specified as well. 

Attaching importance to simplification of the mentioned above process Mayor Taron Margaryan noted that this aim can be achieved only due to everyday consistent work of the persons in charge of the sphere. Yerevan Mayor also instructed to involve in the process the persons in charge of corresponding building organizations and investors.
The Department of Development and Investment Programs was instructed by Mayor Taron Margaryan to work out investment programs in accordance with administrative districts in parallel with working out and implementation of new long-term investment programs.
“Make the cooperation with investors and international organization more active and work out investment programs according to administrative district. We must definitely know what investment possibilities there are in administrative districts so as to direct investors and interested persons to administrative districts presenting various programs and proposals. Use all possible platforms to provide proper presentation of those programs to interested organization”, said Taron Margaryan.
