Various lease agreements for the capital's parks have been problematic for many years. Mayor Tigran Avinyan stressed that it is now necessary to discuss with the lessees the fact that park areas are intended not only for their businesses, but also for people to walk.
"If we cannot reach an agreement, then it is necessary to announce a new tender, terminate the previous contracts, because I am not sure that everyone will want to exploit the areas for a higher fee and in accordance with the old logic,” said Tigran Avinyan.
