The “School Basketball League” Tournament
From March 31 to April 3, the Yerevan stage of the “School Basketball League” took place in the capital. Held under the auspices of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, the tournament featured two age divisions, bringing together 180 young athletes from 10 different schools in Yerevan.
In the competition for grades 5–6, the team from Yerevan Basic School No. 10 named after Khrimyan Hayrik was declared the winner. In the grades 7–9 category, the team from Yerevan Basic School No. 51 named after Vardges Petrosyan took first place. Both teams will take part in the final stage of the competition.
