With the aim of participation in the final stage of the republican competition “Best sport family 2016” for the RA President's Prize, 12 families representing Yerevan left for Tsaghkadzor on July 18.
In his greeting speech addressed to the sport delegation of Yerevan the head of Yerevan Municipality unit of sport and youth affairs Yuri Mamikonyan noted that during the previous 11 years Yerevan team always won and expressed hope the the tradition would be continued this year. Yuri Mamikonyan assured that Yerevan Municipality had done its best to provide successful participation for Yerevan families, and wished them good luck on behalf of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan.
The participants of the competition in their turn assured that they will do their best to uphold the sport honour of the capital. The final stage of ”Best sport family 2016” takes place on July 18-25. Since 2014 this competition has separate contest for the families with a disabled member, and these families are leaving for Tsaghkadzor on July 19. After the competition the RA president Serzh Sargsyan will pesonally hand the prize to the best sport family of Armenia and the main cup will be handed to the delegation won in total.
